Creativity is booming across the whole of the UK except Scotland, which now employs fewer creative people than five years ago, a new report from Nesta has found. Scotland is the only region to have shown a contraction in its creative economy, with employment in the sector falling 1pc between 2011 and 2013, according to the innovation foundation’s study.
