Since 2020, we've seen a massive uptick in teams and companies working remotely--especially in the tech world. But now that we're a few years into this remote work experiment, does it make sense to continue?
On the whole, workers appear to prefer a flexible work arrangement. When employees are given the choice, research from McKinsey finds that 87% work flexibly, and only 13% of those who can work from home at least sometimes choose not to do so at all.
