Blocks connected by lines form a hierarchical pyra 2022 11 09 06 32 04 utcBeing able to delegate tasks and projects to others on your team is a crucial skill to have as a business owner. Not only does it help free up your time to do more high-value tasks, it also empowers those on your team to really shine in their role and take on more responsibility in your absence. Cute image about procrastination and a catAs easily as the Cambridge dictionary defines procrastination as “the act of delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring”, I bet one who deals with it would agree that it is definitely not that easy to handle. If you can quite start to feel a lump in your throat reading this, congratulations! you are precisely the person who needs to read this. Though we know you are just reading this while procrastinating a work of priority, hail there. This might be a motive for you to kill your procrastinating habit and get going. And this read would definitely be more productive than your random search instincts like finding out if your headache indicates a brain tumor.

People gesturing to an Echo deviceAmazon just announced a trio of new features for Echo Show users, with gesture controls topping the list.

In other words, you can now perform physical gestures in front of the screen, and the integrated camera translates these gestures into in-device adjustments. Just raise your hand to activate or dismiss a timer, so you won’t have to physically tap the device or yell “stop” at poor, misunderstood Alexa.

Question mark 2021 08 26 22 30 01 utcIt's hard enough to get up the courage to start a business, but that's only the beginning. Now you need to decide what business to start, and it's not as simple as doing what seems obvious. For example, a friend of mine learned how to design websites while he was in college. When he decided to start a business, he figured, "I know how to design websites, I guess I'll start a website design business." Others have started certain types of businesses because of a hobby, because they heard it was a good way to make money or because someone else dragged them into it.

Simply put, “passwords are weak and user-unfriendly,” said Gartner senior director analyst Paul Rabinovich.

African american mother father daughter help dec 2022 09 26 22 01 22 utcToday, many (but not all) Christians celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25. But given that the birth date of Jesus Christ is not known with certainty, why was this day selected?

There are two major theories as to why Christmas is celebrated on Dec. 25. One, sometimes called the "history of religion" hypothesis, suggests that Christmas supplanted one or more pagan holidays. The other theory, often called the "computation" or "calculation" hypothesis, suggests that early Christians used some form of calculation to arrive at Dec. 25 as Jesus' birthday.

Wind generatorNorthern California has some of the strongest offshore winds in the U.S., with immense potential to produce clean energy. But it also has a problem. Its continental shelf drops off quickly, making building traditional wind turbines directly on the seafloor costly if not impossible.

Once water gets more than about 200 feet deep – roughly the height of an 18-story building – these “monopile” structures are pretty much out of the question.

A solution has emerged that’s being tested in several locations around the world: wind turbines that float.
