think I speak on behalf of most interns when I say that my arrival in the advertising-technology industry forced me onto a steep learning curve adorned with terminology I never knew existed. I’ve learned that the ad tech space is quite complex, consisting of a large number of fragmented players with diverse and often confusing business models.
On top of all that, I joined the Commercialization team here at AppNexus, a team whose role is as almost as complex as the industry we are working in. Within two weeks’ time, however, I was up to speed thanks to the genuinely collaborative work environment I found myself in.
