Nationwide, the venture capital industry saw a steady increase in venture-backed exits in 2013. A new report from the National Venture Capital Association said that for the fourth quarter of 2013, there was a 91 percent increase in exits with a deal value of $5.3 billion, and a total of 82 venture-backed exits for the year.
